Satellite Signal Delay Calculator
Estimate radio signal latency to a satellite based on altitude. Uses speed of light and a simplified straight-line “up + down” path (approximate).

Real satellite internet/phone latency includes extra path length (not directly overhead), ground routing, and processing — often the dominant part.
How we calculate
Speed of light c ≈ 299,792 km/s. One-way ≈ altitude / c. RTT ≈ 2 × altitude / c (using our straight up+down model).
