How Many Stars Can You See?

Estimate how many stars are visible in the night sky based on light pollution (Bortle scale) and observing conditions.

Lower number = darker sky.
Binoculars reveal many more faint stars.
Clear sky, Moon below horizon, dark adaptation of eyes.
Moonlight can drastically reduce counts.
